My dream vacation is going to Japan, but I'm worried about the food. I have a shellfish allergy and do not read or speak Japanese. I'd need an epipen on me and would need to know a bit of japanese to avoid shellfish and or navigate the hospital if it came to that. :x

I make a great oyakodon and katsudon, and I think katsudon is my favourite. Haven't tried any other kinds though.

I think my favorite is katsudon. I'm happy to see you trying the ekiben. I know some of the British RUclipsrs just badmouth ekiben but I enjoy them.

Never had a good eki bento, but the ones from the lower floor of the shopping centers are great, those places are food heaven.

It might not reach and it's out of topic. But I'll still ask... maybe in can be answered in a future Q&A 😆... But, Karate competitions was probably more popular in the past than now in Japan, I don't know. But does anyone there recognize you since you represented them for many years? Does it happen even when you just walk around and try so many restaurants for Junk Food Japan? 😅
